The Fur Ball is the Humane Society of Jackson County’s fundraising event!
The Humane Society of Jackson County is proud to announce the 4th Annual Fur Ball. Our theme this year will be The Great Catsby, set in the Roar-r-ring 1920’s.This black-tie gala will consist of an hors d’oeuvre reception, a gourmet dinner, live jazz band for dancing the night away, a floor show, auctions, raffles & prizes. The festivities will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 28th at the beautiful Braselton-Stover House.
We have opened sponsorship opportunities for this fabulous event and want to encourage your participation. We realize that the present economy impacts every business; however, it also continues to have a profound impact on our domestic animal population. We need your help to continue making headway.
The Fur Ball helps us to fund our major programs; rescuing homeless animals, food bank and spay/neuter. In 2013 over 100 families were helped through our low cost spay/neuter program. Since it’s inception, HSJC has rescued over 1,100 cats and dogs and our Dog Therapy program is delighting nursing home, hospitals and assisted living residents every month. Our goal this year continues to be raising funds to build a shelter, as well as maintain these valuable programs for the residents of Jackson County.
Should you choose not to sponsor, but would like to attend the event, ticket prices are $60 each. You may be interested in a table sponsorship, which are available for $1,000 for a table of 10. And, of course, we welcome any offers of items for our Silent Auction and Raffle prizes. Please see the enclosed form for all sponsorship options. A sponsorship in any amount is welcome and keep in mind that it is tax deductible.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact either Cheryl Iski at Cheryl@hsjc.com or Laura Collier at FurBall2014@windstream.net. Thank you for your consideration of our request for support. We hope you will be able to join us for this gala evening.
